Entry of fresh Western disturbance, increased Rainfall activities in parts of West Gujarat, West Rajasthan on 14 & 15th November. Pollution level over northwest plain of India to enhance or remain same in upcoming 2 to 3 days.Rainfall/Snowfall activities in Himalayan States.

An unusually strong trough has formed over North Arabian Sea extending to parts of Gujarat & Rajasthan of India & North part of Pakistan which leaded a western disturbance which has reached to western Himalaya region as a cyclonic circulation over Afghanistan & adjoining North Pakistan and and induced a cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan & neighborhood region.

Today some parts of western Rajasthan has wintnessed light to moderate rainfall– some major city/town which are Bikaner, Phalodi, Barmer, Jodhpur & some parts of Gujarat.

Rainfall activities is likely to enhance from tomorrow to 15th late night &  likely to cover entire West Rajasthan where scattered to fairly widespread rain is very likely to occur with one or two heavy spells of rain at isolated region.

Under the influence of this system isolated to scattered rainfall and light showers is much likely in rest parts of Rajasthan, Western Haryana (some major city/town like Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar & Hansi)  & some parts of Punjab. Meanwhile Rest part of Haryana, North East Rajasthan & Delhi NCR is not much likely to receive proper rainfall but clouds activities will be enhanced & cloudy condition will prevail in this region during this period and chances of some light showers activities or isolated thunderstorm also may not be denied at the same time.

Hailstorm activities may also be witnessed at isolated places in above region during this period.

Light to moderate rainfall & snowfall activities are very likely in parts of Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh & in upper parts Uttarakhand from tonight to 16th November morning.

As surface winds speed is expected to remain on lower side over plains of northwest India at least for next two days & moisture will be on high side due to this current system, current hazardous pollution level is very much likely to remain  unchanged or enhance in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, North Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh for next two to three days.

As western disturbance will move away eastward from North India from 16th November, faster Chilly Northwest winds will tighten grip over entire northwest plains from 17th onwards which will result in significant drop in temperature & pollution level as well over entire northwest plains & likely to improve further thereafter.
